Purpose of the
Image Gallery:
This component is designed to highlight impressive images related to the displaying page. This gallery displays sets of 4 images in a javascript-driven carousel.
To implement a
Image Gallery:
- Navigate to the relevant Page Template within Content Editor.
- Click the right-arrow to expand the Page Template directory
- Click the right-arrow to expand the “Slider” folder

- Define the Slider Title, and Slider “Link”
- The title will display above the gallery as a section heading
- The link will allow authors to link to any specific page within the File Tree.
NOTE: The destination page for the gallery must be created. Creation of the Image Gallery does not generate a destination page.
- Expand the “Slider” to reveal the images associated with this display.
- Select media for each “Slide” component data set.
- Once all desired slides have been configured, save and publish the “Slider” component.
- Click on the “Experience Editor” beneath the “Publish” tab within the Content Editor Ribbon.
- Experience Editor will launch in a new Browser tab.
- Scroll to the Image Gallery component. If the desired Image Gallery isn’t displaying, click on the blue border.
- From the resulting menu, click the yellow database checkbox icon.
- Select “Change Associated Content.”
- Select the desired Slider component data set.
- Additional slides can be added by clicking on the “Add Component” icon in the upper left corner, next to the “floppy disc” save icon.
- Once configurations are complete, save by clicking the floppy disc icon in the upper left corner.
- Publish with “publish subitems” selected.
NOTE: If images were uploaded to the Image Gallery, make sure to “publish related items.”
