Purpose of the
Campaign Navigation Component:
The Campaign Navigation component allows the Campaign Page template to feature related subpages or page anchors in a consistent, branded manner.
The Campaign Navigation offers these options:
- Custom Background Color (in development)
- Campaign Navigation can be reused once created
To implement a
Campaign Navigation Component:
- Via the Content Editor, navigate to UMC > home > Shared Content > Campaign Navigation.
- The default Campaign Navigation as well as previously created Campaign Navigation data sets will be available within this directory.
- If a new Campaign Navigation component data set is needed, right click on the “Campaign Navigation” directory, and insert an “Agency Navigation” item.
- Click “insert link”
- Choose a destination for the Campaign Navigation “home” link.
- Choose a description (display text) for the Campaign Navigation home link.
- Save the new Campaign Navigation item.
- Right click on your new Campaign Navigation item.
- Insert an “Agency Link” for every link you’d like to display within the Campaign Navigation.
- Save the new Agency Link item.
- Select the new Campaign Navigation component, and publish with “publish subitems” checked.
- Click “insert link”
- From the File Tree within Content Editor, select the page this Campaign Navigation will appear on.
- Click “Experience Editor” under the “Publish” tab.
- From within Experience Editor, select the blue border around the Campaign Navigation component.
- Click the yellow database with checkmark icon, select “Change Associated Content.”
- Select your desired Campaign Navigation component data set.
- Save the page by clicking the “floppy disc” icon in the upper left corner.
- Publish with “publish related items” selected.
NOTE”: Selecting “publish subitems” is not necessary in this operation since the Campaign Navigation items are not located beneath this page.
